Privacy policy
What this site collects, what it does not, and who else is involved.

The short version
This is a directory of links. There is no account to create, nothing to log in to, and no newsletter. We do not ask for personal information except on the contact and submit forms, where you choose what to send us.
What the server records
Like any web server, ours writes a log line for each request: your IP address, the time, the page requested, your browser's user-agent string and the referring page. These logs are used to keep the site working and to spot abuse. They rotate automatically and are not combined with anything else or sold.
Cookies
We set no cookies of our own. The site stores one value in your browser's session storage — whether you have dismissed the advert at the foot of the page — which never leaves your device and disappears when you close the tab.
Our advertising partner does set cookies. See below.
Advertising
This site carries advertising from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure whether those ads were seen or clicked. We do not receive or store any of that data — it goes to Google, not to us.
You can turn off personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and opt out of many other advertising vendors at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu. Turning personalisation off does not remove the ads; it makes them less relevant.
Analytics
We do not currently run any analytics product on this site. If that changes this page will say so, with the name of the product and what it collects, before it goes live.
The contact and submit forms
If you use a form, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you type, plus the IP address the message was sent from. That is stored on our server and emailed to the site's own address. It is used to answer you and to action what you reported — nothing else. Ask us to delete your message and we will.
Links to other sites
Every masthead on this site links to a publisher we do not control. Once you arrive on their site, their privacy policy applies and ours does not. Publishers set their own cookies and run their own trackers, and we have no visibility into any of it.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
When this policy changes the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes — a new analytics product, a new advertising partner — are described, not slipped in.
