About Dhaka Tribune
Dhaka Tribune launched in 2013 as a deliberately digital-first English daily, and its newsroom has always treated the website rather than the printed page as the primary edition. That shows in its output: fast turnaround on breaking politics, and a heavier emphasis on data journalism and long-form features than its older rivals.
It runs a Bengali sister site and has invested consistently in coverage of the Rohingya response in Cox's Bazar, climate adaptation and the readymade garment sector.
