bdnews24.com was Bangladesh's first internet-native news organisation, launched in 2006 out of what had been a news agency. It has no printed edition and never has had one, which at the time made it an outlier and now looks like a head start.
It publishes in Bengali and English from the same newsroom, maintains district correspondents, and its wire-style output is picked up by broadcasters and other papers throughout the day. The site's archive is one of the deepest online records of Bangladeshi news since the mid-2000s.
